USA!! USA!!!

I am pooped. I had quite the busy weekend. Friday night I went to happy hour with Verity, Cam and Hillary. It was a lot of fun because Hillary recently popped out a little one, so she's hasn't been out with us in quite some time. We all had things going on the next day (and Hillary now has a baby), so it was kind of an early night.

The next morning I work up at the crack of dawn, slightly scaring Allison when I arrived at her house. We went up to Cambridge...OH...this was funny. So we had to take two overground trains, but the second one was cancelled so we had to take a bus. So Allison and I are on this bus, she sitting and I'm standing next to her. There are 4 13ish year olds sitting at the back of the bus two rows behind us, and a couple sitting in front of them. The couple was probably in their mid-late 30s. So the girls are listening to their phones play music and the woman looks behind said CAN YOU TURN THAT DOWN I CAN'T HEAR MYSELF THINK!! I look at the girls and I'm like, holy crap. And I start giggle with them (because I'm so mature). So for like 20 minutes they are quiet and Allison and I continue talking...yadda yadda...they get excited for whatever reason and start playing more music. So the bus finally stops and the man and woman stand up and starting going off at the girls!! "You don't even live here! You stupid immature little snots! You stupid fat cows!!" I SWEAR! Of course I was about to jump in and tell them how mature THEY were being for calling little girls cows, but then I remembered that I am American and I can't do that sort of thing.

ANYWAY, we finally get to Chris's match and sit down in the front row. It was all very chill. Everyone that was fighting was under 150 pounds or so, skinny boys and girls. They were all friendly fights and everyone was chatting and kind of watching. Well then Chris gets in the ring and everyone is quiet. Then, the russian from Rocky 4 steps in the ring:
So anyway, Allison and I start out holding our breaths. By the third round I'm screaming, cheering Chris on. At the end of it I started chanting USA!! USA!! Chris's training either thought I was funny or the craziest girl in the world.

That night I went to Siobhan and Big James' engagement party which was a lot of fun. One of the girls there told me how awesome my accent was and how she could listen to me ALLL night long and how I don't have one of those weird American accents. I have a real, honest to God American accent. I'm not sure what it meant, but it was nice to hear. So that party was a good time!

Then Sunday I watched the first quarter of the game, dozed off during the second quarter, and then woke up to some really old dudes trying to rock. It was like 1:30 am so I decided it was time to call it a night.

Well Glee just came on, so I'm going to go watch the high school experience that everyone wishes they had.
