I'm currently watching What Katie Did Next. Its a fantastic show about Katie Price aka Jordan and what she did after she and Peter Andre got divorced. She's basically british white trash. Its like watching White Trash Wedding on CMT. I can't turn away. Anyway, in this episode, she is trapped in her house because of the snow that hit a few weeks ago and her little son just asked the cameraman how to make a snowball.
While that's happening...I'm planning my HOLIDAYS!! I was just told that I have 28 vacation days for the year. 28. That is basically February. Is this a joke? I mean, I have never even taken a full 2 weeks. How am I going to do this? That's where I bring in the big dogs, aka my british friends who are experts in using up vacation days.
May - 1 week in Marbella/Majorca, Spain
June - 2.5 days off to hit Jersey for Reidfest 2010
July - Perhaps hop over to Ireland for a long weekend to visit grandma while she's there
August - early Newquey (aka shore Britain) for a surf festival for a long weekend
Late August - chi-town to visit hills and keith over the bank holiday perhaps..
September - Egypt with the single ladies for a week
October - DC for homecoming (just a day and a half off for that)
December - days off between christmas and new years
This is apparently what egypt (where we're going) looks like:
Between all that, I'm not quite sure when I'll actually do any work, but hopefully my clients will decide they all want to spend a boat load of money without much influence for me and it will make life very easy for me.
In other news, my crock pot came. When it arrived at the office, everyone was asking what was in the box. When I told them it was a crock pot, apparently the accent came out because every heard "crack pipe". I don't know why they thought I would A) order a crack pipe, B) get it delivered TO THE OFFICE, or C) even know how to use a crack pipe if I got my hands on one. Anyway, hopefully I'll get the chance to use it over the next two weeks. The crock pot, not the crack pipe.
On Saturday LAUREN is coming to town for the weekend from LA!! I'm so excited. She moved to LA a few years ago for grad school and because of it we've only seen each other a few times since her wedding in 2007 I believe it was? Her sister is studying abroad in Switzerland. That's where the swiss live, right? Yeah I think so (stay in school kids...proof that opting out of Modern European History was NOT a good decision). Anyway, so she's stopping by London on the way to visit her sister and I'm soo pumped! I took Monday off so we can go do fun things like go to the courts and laugh at the men in wigs (Lauren's a lawyer so she probably wants to go for real reasons). I can't wait to see her!
Hopefully I'll have some fun pictures after this weekend!

Wow that is a lot of travel, good thing you got the beefier version of the Passport because you're going to be burning up some pages.
Nope, I really just want to see the wigs!! haha. Can't wait :)

And I would have assumed crack pipe too.
I always get my crack pipes delivered to the office.
You should lead the next global sales summit.. because this is truly the key to sales:
"hopefully my clients will decide they all want to spend a boat load of money without much influence for me"
Was your intention to make me insanely jealous of all the places you are going to vacation to? Well done, my friend.
