So of course less than a week after I post about how ridiculous Swine Flu is, our office manager calls out sick. The phone doctor diagnosed her with Swine Flu. If I get it before I head to DC I will be very annoyed. I would like to get it between my DC trip and Hong Kong trip, or between Hong Kong and my NY/LA trip, or after October 9th, but before Halloween.
If Swine Flu could fit itself in my schedule then I'm happy to take 7 days off.

Perhaps you can ask the Karma gods for Spider Dog flu instead. This rare illness is characterized by unpleasant plastic-like odors, odd and frequent barking and very itchy ears.
omg...i love you kchrist! when we were in the cinque terre and had to read all of these train schedules...very quickly...i would shout "omg what is 14:00 what is 14:00" as the trains came speeding up. no matter how hard i tried i could never get comfortable with military time!
just think...next week you can go back to 12 numbers :)
