I should negotiate everything after several beers

Last night my friend Trisha had this concert she was dying to go to. The band is called Burnt Sienna and they are the most rocking cover band I've ever heard. She wants them to play at her wedding. When she told them that last time she saw them they said, awesome! That sounds great! Congrats! When are you getting married? She said, Oh sweet Jesus I have no idea. Let me try and get a date first, but when I do...you boys better be ready! So they were in town last night and we decided to go see them to celebrate Trisha's bday. It was SOOO much fun!! They said happy birthday to Trisha and invited her on stage. For other songs they said, come on ladies we need you on stage, but this was just Trisha. Have you ever noticed that when they say Come on ladies, get on stage, its always the ugliest girls in the bar getting up? Well at least this was the case last night. Anyway, the whole things was a blast. We stayed out until WAY too late for a school night and then I took cab cross states to get back to Bethesda.

When I arrived at my hotel, I decided this was the appropriate time to book at taxi for my Saturday 7 am flight. I went up to the concierge and said, "Hey do you know Mike? In sales?"
Concierge Guy: Yes I do, he's not here right now.
Me: No I figured that. He's nice. I met him once.
Guy: o. k.
me: so anyway i'm going to need a cab on sat
guy: ok i can arrange that
me: yeah, but i don't want one of those sketch ass gypsy cabs. i want a REAL cab
guy: ok, like barwood?
me: yeah!! like barwood!!
guy: ok, that will probably be about $75
me: No.
guy: excuse me?
me: No. That's ridic. I lived here for 7 years and I have never seen those numbers on a cab. sorry I'll find someone else.
guy: um..ok well how much?
me: $40
guy: um..how about $45?
me: fine. see you then

Who knew I had such killer negotiating skills? Let's hope this sticks!
