I finally feel like it's Christmas. Maybe it's because it was snowing last night. Maybe it's because I opened an advent calendar today. Maybe because I'm leaving for Jersey in 6 days. Maybe it's because I'm really loving Matt Cardle's new Christmas single from X-Factor:
Most likely, though, because today is our company Christmas lunch. Last year, we had it at a medieval times type place. It was awful. The year before we had it at a restaurant and then went out to pub for several drinks after. This year we are going to Chez Gerard. It's a nice little French chain but the main thing I'm excited for is the steak. Hollerr... First we'll do the secret santa exchange in the office, then we'll head to lunch, then we'll head to the pub. Our boss will buy a few rounds, and then he'll head home. Then the bad decisions start happening. It's always a good time though. I'll be sure to post pictures tomorrow.
This weekend is going to be COLLLLDDDDD!!! It's supposed to be high of 30, low of 20 this weekend, and then heavy snow both days. I'm kind of looking forward to it.
Then Monday I work from home (office refurb all week), Tuesday work from home again and hang with Hillary who is in town from Chicago for Christmas, Wednesday work from home and finish Christmas shopping, then Thursday off to America. F*ck yeah.
